Do you ever hear an ad on the radio and think, “How does someone do that with their voice?”, “Do
people actually sound like that?” …. that was me as a kid.
I went a step further and asked, “Where can I sign up to sound like that?”
I later discovered that the voice is an instrument. With practice we can achieve anything. I started
with announcements for my church and received positive responses. Someone even jokingly told me
that “I have the face for Radio”. So I kept going and have since done this every week since 2017.
Over these years I have been asked to do voice work for a variety of projects. This is one of my
passions, along with film and video production, having received my degree in Cinematography.
I love reading and bringing words to life, whether it be with my voice or with a camera. We have the
power to change the world with our words. Let me know what you want to say.

Sanett O

Sanett O

Ever since Sanett was young, she has been entertaining.  At first, twirling around and singing, “Heidi, Heidi…”  Later she made her acting debut in “Die Kongres” at the KKNK in 1997 , and have not looked back since. She has made appearances in a number of theatre productions, is an award winning radio presenter and even acted on television (ok, just once and only a tiny part, to be honest!).   She loves acting!  For her, there is something so unbelievably gratifying about playing different roles and putting her own twist on each performance. She loves using her voice to create: advertisements, radio theatre, video voice overs, singing and more!  She is fully bilingual.

Mmambo is a charismatic, vibrant and dynamic young man with a passion for people, learning and creativity. Currently enrolled as a BA Law undergraduate at the University of Wits, he aspires to leverage all his skills and talents to make an impactful contribution to the world that will last generations and benefit them all.

In the booth, Mmambo is a natural. Boasting a cool deep voice with a dynamic vocal range he shows himself capable of varied deliveries.

Despite his confidence and natural ability, he soon realised the importance of upskilling himself and thus attended the SAVOA Boothcamp where he managed to impress his coaches and fellow voice talents alike.

He remains, however, eager to always remain a student and learn from all those around him. His desire to animate a script and produce emotion in the listener inspires Mmambo to want to be one of the very best, as he considers such an endeavour to be the height of artistic expression, and a privilege of divine proportions.

What could be taken as a lack of experience is easily overlooked by a mixture of talent, good character and a ferocity exhibited towards the achieving of his dreams. In so doing, Mmambo always aims to please; giving the client all they want and more.

It is for all these reasons that he stands out as one to keep a very keen eye on for the near-future.

Alan M

Alan M

As a university lecturer in physics I have, for many years, projected my voice on the stage of the lecture theatre, and I have recently used voice over to narrate almost a hundred e-learning videos.

I am a scientist by training with a love of the arts. As a student I acted in plays, sang in choirs, and narrated audiobooks, and as a lecturer I acted in a radio play, took a course in creative writing, and wrote a novel.

My journey in voice over started with a SAVOA booth camp in 2019, and continued with group and now individual coaching with SAVOA.

I find that voice acting brings together the mind, emotions and voice to shape sound in a subtle and powerful way, taking me deep within and then out to the world.

My accent is English South African, and my voice has a range from a relaxed bass timbre to a dynamic high tone that lends itself to audiobook narration, character voices, and commercial soft sell, and corporate and narration genres of explainer, documentary, training, and e-learning.
